New Years, new builds, and new features.
Our dude George brought in his STOCK z125 with some crazy ideas in mind. Inspired by his favorite childhood shredder, George proudly presents to you his two wheel version of Hulk. Many details will go unseen if it wasn’t for internet, luckily for us, I’m here to give you the break down.
Peep the BBK. George chose to go with the black anodize to keep with a stealth theme but seriously, how can you ignore such a massive setup. Peep the colors on the lip inspired by Marble Madness’.
Detail photo of the paint combo. I was a bit iffy at first when George brought us the idea, but it really worked out in the end. The Marble Purple really went well with the HOK candy green.
Take note z125 owners, our boys over at MPAB did some work on the Z125 fairings that separate this one from all. The “rough” plastic was sanded smooth like a babys butt and masked off for a two tone look. MPAB mixed some “black hole” paint or something because this sucker is dark on the inner part of the undercowl. Don’t mind the zip tie, it was a temporary piece used to hold up the Digital speedo cable before the wire tuck.
Mandatory Asia front headlight conversion to ditch those hideous US spec bug eyes. Clear Kijima turn signals replace the OE reflectors for a cleaner look.
Whats a build without a new handlebar setup. The factory bars were kicked to the side and replaced with our new Clubman bar and the factory instrument for a classy electronic all in one Acewell gauge found HERE
Rear detail shot to show you his Zubiku R6 tailight conversion which is definitely new and from what I’m told, a first here in the states. Peep the matching rear RRGS shock setup in Black resting under a color matched Composimo z125 extension paired with a new set of dunlop tt92 tires and our popular Z125 rear hugger fender
Photos will NEVER do this bike justice. Seeing it in person under sunlight will.
Yoshimura was the choice muffler to release the exhaust gases while keeping a moderate not so obnoxious tone other z125 bikes have. This bike was completely stripped and the frame was painted Marble Purple for those who question. Why paint even though most people will never see and notice anyway? Thats the SF way.
The GOJIN universal tow hooks work on just about anything.
Brand new Yamaha plastic’s replace the original beat up cover that once was. He even added an OEM optional basket to the mix. Perfect for holding everything you refuse to keep in your pockets when riding.
Rear smoked LED R6 taillight housed in the Zubiku short spoiler
Big brother came out for a photo op that will be up in a future post.
Bryant rolling with George on its first ride after the rebuild.
